About Edith Block, LICSW

Couples & Individual Therapist in Massachusetts & New Jersey

Choosing a therapist is personal. Beyond training and experience, I believe it’s important to find someone you feel comfortable with, someone who can support you with compassion while also helping you grow.

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) providing virtual therapy to individuals and couples throughout Massachusetts and New Jersey. My work is grounded in Relational Life Therapy (RLT), helping people build healthier, more connected relationships with their partners, families, and themselves.

Why I Chose Relational Life Therapy

I’ve always been fascinated by relationships and the patterns that shape them.

That curiosity led me to London, where I watched Terry Real work with a couple over two days. Seeing them move from disconnection to genuine connection transformed the way I understood therapy and confirmed that this was the work I wanted to do.

Today, I’m a certified Relational Life Therapy Coach and continue advanced training toward becoming a certified Relational Life Therapist because I believe learning is one of the best ways I can serve my clients.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

My style is warm, honest, and collaborative. I’ll support you with empathy while also gently challenging the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll build practical skills that help you communicate more effectively, strengthen your relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What I Hope You Leave Therapy With

I hope therapy helps you feel more connected to yourself, the people you love, and the life you want to create.

My goal isn’t to help you become someone different. It’s to help you develop the awareness, confidence, and relationship skills to show up as the version of yourself that feels most authentic, connected, and alive.

Healthy relationships aren’t conflict-free. They’re repair-rich.
